    TESTIMONIALS:

“The class was fantastic – probably one of the best CE classes I’ve ever taken!!”

"It was awesome! Erin did a wonderful job and it takes a good presenter to keep people interested in tax stuff for 3 hours! :) I would say half of us went into the class thinking we knew all about 1031's but this class is more advanced and we learned a lot of really good information."

"Thank you for the class yesterday. I've taken a couple other 1031 Exchange classes in the past and this was by far the most informative. You were able to present things in a very clear and understandable way."

"Thanks, Erin. Again, I have had such great feedback on the class and everybody was so impressed with your presentation and knowledge. They told me it was the best class we have ever hosted.

    Wow!”

"Really good class. I usually have to take no-doze for these. You were very informative and kept the subject moving.”

    “Awesome Instructor!”

    “Fantastic Course, Perfect Timing”

”Erin was very knowledgeable and interesting”

Our speaker, is Janae Daniels with DIY Hiring, helping us learn how to further build our business!

Hiring for Keeps:  We will be discussing when to start hiring, who to start hiring, and how to weed out toxic people to find the gems.  For those who aren't interested in hiring, the information will still be very beneficial because we will discuss aspects of performance which cause most people sincere personal reflection.

    DIY Hiring:  CEO and Founder

Janae Daniels is the CEO and Founder of DIY Hiring.  The mission of DIY Hiring is to empower small businesses successfully grow through the hiring process.  Her emphasis is working with businesses with 0-20 employees.  She began her career in hiring and recruiting over 15 years ago where she worked for Manpower International as a staffing specialist hiring for a myriad of Fortune 500 companies.  She moved into the small business sector where she found her passion for helping the “bread and butter” of the United States—the very small business owners.  She also taught middle school theater for a time—and survived---which guaranteed her place in Heaven.  Over the course of her career she has conducted over 3,000 interviews; consulted with every type of business known to man on hiring; voraciously studied the best practices in hiring and employee retention, as well as the cutting-edge research in human behavior in the workplace, and behavioral economy.  Her philosophy is the adage if you “catch a man a fish, you will feed him for a day, but if you teach a man to fish, you will feed him for a lifetime.”  She loves teaching small business owners how to hire “for keeps.”  Although, she also continues to hire directly for a myriad of small businesses.

She is happily married to Jason Daniels.  They are the proud parents of six children—ranging in ages 3 to 20 and owners to one very large, unruly, slightly crazy goldendoodle.  She is an alumnus of the Stick Horses in Pants Improv Comedy Troupe and a lover of the quirky.  She is the proud recipient of “Bed Maker of the Year Award” which she made up and gave to herself after making her bed religiously for months.  (Hey, we must celebrate the little wins in life.)  She is also living her dream of never running in a marathon.  When she isn’t advising on hiring, recruiting, volunteering at church and school, helping kids with homework, or hiding in a locked closet reading Young Adult fiction while gorging on her year supply of thin mints Girl Scout cookies, she is supporting Operation Underground Railroad to stop Human Trafficking.  (Don’t be super impressed, she doesn’t ACTUALLY go undercover—she just sends financial support.)  She’d love to help your company grow through hiring.  She can be reached at janae@diyhiring.com or at 719-213-0031.

    About CONFLICT JUJITSU®

In life conflict isn’t optional. Double that when you are a Realtor. Conflict finds us... During tough transactions with other brokers... When we negotiate with clients who are sometimes demanding or unhappy... With inspectors and appraisers... And honestly with the most important people in our personal lives who repeatedly wait for us as we spend long hours away from them with our customers.

Truth is... Conflict is uncomfortable for most of us. Conflict is full of energy from which we often run or sometimes rip into doing damage to our relationships. But conflict also brings opportunity. Great things can come out of conflict that is handled well.

CONFLICT JUJITSU® is about harnessing the energy of conflict. CONFLICT JUJITSU® is about seizing the opportunities which conflict can bring. CONFLICT JUJITSU® is about well developed personal maturity through which new conflict skills can flourish and be ethically applied.

In CONFLICT JUJITSU® you will learn practical skills and strategies that you can use every day, whether negotiating a real estate transaction or having a tough conversation with a loved one. You will learn how to better run your brain during conflict so you can respond effectively rather than simply reacting.

Dave Dornan developed CONFLICT JUJITSU® and has taught it around the nation for many years to large companies and government agencies. But Dave’s main focus was always real estate. He was a full time Realtor in Fort Collins for 35 years. He knows the pressures and conflicts a Realtor faces. Dave’s practical experience keeps CONFLICT JUJITSU® real.

Come take the class, earn 16 C.E. credits and gain some potentially life changing insights.

Join us as Jacqueline Staples, a.k.a. The Financial Unicorn, reminds us about why effective networking is pivotal to business success. The key to effective networking is learning people. The more you know about someone, the more:

    1. You’ll know how your products/services can help them.

    2. You control who you choose as a client/customer

    3. People will want to get to know you

    4. They’ll care about what you do, because you care about what they do.

    5. They become a friend, and less of an acquaintance.  If people buy from strangers, why wouldn’t they buy from friends.

Jacqueline Staples was in the corporate business world for 12 years, creating marketing plans, marketing budgets, and generating millions of dollars for corporations. She used to create websites in the AOL days and quickly moved to producing music videos on MTV then PSA's for nonprofits and the PGA tour. She has done it all to help businesses grow their business.
